Dr. Garrett Waller is a native of Tulsa and played football at Cascia Hall, contributing to three state championships. He later played Division I football at Villanova University in Pennsylvania, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Comprehensive Sciences.
Influenced by his father, a physician, Dr. Waller decided to pursue a career in medicine. He attended medical school and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, serving as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Florida, where he worked with high-level athletes in every sport and trained under Dr. James Andrews, M.D. During this time, he assisted with Florida State University, Auburn University, and Tuskegee University athletics.
Dr. Waller’s experience in football provides him with a distinct perspective in his medical practice. He enjoys treating athletes and patients utilizing today’s most modern techniques to get people back to what they love to do.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Waller spends time with his wife and their new son. Dr. Waller also enjoys fishing and playing golf.
